Analysis and solution of common problems in the thread milling
(1) the reasons for the accelerated wear or excessive wear of the thread milling cutters: the choice of cutting speed and feed rate is not correct. Solution: to ensure that the correct cutting speed and feed rate are selected from the machining parameter table.
Reason: the tool is too much pressure. Solution: reduce the feed per tooth; shorten the tool changing time interval; check the excessive wear of the tool. The thread of the starting place will be the fastest.
Reasons: the selection of the coating is not correct, resulting in the accumulation of debris. Solution: To study the applicability of other coatings; increase coolant flow rate and flow rate.
The reason: the spindle speed is too high. Solution: reduce the speed of the spindle.
(2) cutting edge collapse causes: cutting speed and feed choice is not correct. Solution: determine the correct cutting speed and feed rate from the machining parameter table.
